The media center is the hub of South Dade Senior High School. Its purpose is to provide an inviting environment for the discovery, exchange, and advancement of idea. The goal of the staff is to provide direct assistance and learning opportunities that encourage educational and personal growth. The media center provides convenient access to information resources as well as recreational enrichment that will stimulate interest and appreciation for reading and learning. The Media Center is open before, during, and after school. It offers books, periodicals, Miami Herald Digital, Professional Collections, Internet Access, DVDs, E-Books, Multimedia Equipment and Online Public Catalogs.
