Child Care

Childhood Education offers the Child Development Association (CDA) Certification which includes the 480 hours that are completed at our very own on-site preschool program.  The student will also meet the required Department of Children and Families 45 hours including the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Pediatric First Aide Certification.  Upon completion the student will be credentialed to teach ages 3-5 in the State of Florida.

The Little BUCS Preschool is from Children Ages 3 to 5 and various age appropriate curriculum is used to enhance development.  Children must be potty trained and the cost is $65 a week.  To enroll your child in the Little BUCS Preschool contact Ms. Griselda Perez at griselda@dadeschools.net.

7:10 a.m. – 7:40 a.m.: Welcome, Breakfast and Free Play
7:45 a.m. – 8:50 a.m.: Daily Routines, Smart Board Letter of the Week, Writing Opening Circle, Small Group Instruction
8:55 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Recess, Snack, Bathroom
9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.: Teacher Directed Centers
10:15 a.m. – 10:25 a.m.: Number of the Week
10:25 a.m. – 10:50 a.m.: Lunch
10:50 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Dental Hygiene and Bathroom
11:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.: Whole Group or Science
11:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.: Letter of the Week Craft
11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Prep for Nap
12:00 p.m. – 2:20 p.m.: Nap
