THE MAGNET APPLICATION PERIOD IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.
The Magnet Schools application period for the 2021-2022 school year was from October 1st, 20209 until January 15th, 2021. Currently, the regular application period has ended.
Parents who submitted a Magnet application by January 15 will be notified on or by March 15 as to their application results. There is no need to take any further action before the notification period.
Missed the application period?
Miami-Dade County Public Schools Magnet Schools opens its Off-Cycle Application period in April. Schools that have fewer applicants than seats available may be accepting applications on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning in May. Parents must contact individual schools about availability at that time. All applicants must meet entrance requirements for each program.
If you are interested in being considered for one of our Magnet Programs, fill out the Off-Cycle Magnet Application, and we will review your eligibility and space in the program.
