South Dade's own EJ Solis won the USAW Preseason National Championships held in Des Moines, Iowa. Only a Sophomore, EJ is already a 3x All American in his short high school career. South Dade's own EJ Solis won the Puerto Rican National Games earning a spot on the Puerto Rican World Team at 65kg. EJ will represent Team Puerto Rico at the Pan American Championships in Mexico City this summer. 3x State Champion, Sawyer Bartelt won the 2023 US OPEN in Greco and earned ALL AMERICAN honors in Freestyle placing 3rd. This is Sawyer's 3rd National title in his high school career and will represent Team USA at the Pan American Championships in Chile this summer.
